January 27, 2023 ~ Dr. Tom Milam He Leadeth Me Devotional

“Being Full”

John 1:15-17

Jesus being fully man, yet also was fully God and Holy Spirit, therefore fully deity. “For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). Jesus was fully man, to prove the fullness of God, in His power to atone with His own blood (I John 1:7).

We are justified in His righteousness, made full, if you please. (Romans 8:1) “There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus”. We further find this great blessing Hebrews 7:25, “He is able to save to the uttermost them that come unto God by him; seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for thee”. We are full in Him, of His victory over death, hell, and the grave. He destroyed the devil that had the power over death.

We have fullness of power, the same power that resurrected Him from the dead. (I Peter    1:3) “We are begotten again unto a lively hope.”

After He ascended, we were left with power to ascend also, (Ephesians 4:8) “When He ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men”. And thank God for his fullness of grace to pardon, to make new in regeneration; We are set apart by His grace in sanctification; We have His fullness of preservation; And His fullness to become a mature, faithful believer. We are full at all times in obedience, we are full in comfort during trials and afflictions, full in the valley or on the mountain, rich or poor. We are full of His guidance, wisdom, power and most of all, His precious love. He has love enough that we will never exhaust His ever-replenishing supply. Come my friend and be full of God.

“Come And Be Full”

Do you want to be full? Come and drink;

God has a supply beyond what you may think.

Do you want to know Him, and the fullness of His power?

Come to an altar and receive it this hour.
