January 19, 2023 ~ January 2023 Devotions: "Radiant"

And so, I continue. . .  

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works.  Psalms 26:7 KJV

Zechariah 9:16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.   KJV   

As pre-ordained our LORD God made arrangements for our salvation through the future coming of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ His Son. Zechariah is the book of HOPE in the Old Testament, that there would be a day when all was done that we will be lifted up as an "ensign" a trophy of the Lord. It is our deepest desire to be worthy of our calling to serve Him, preach and sing of Him; the One and ONLY One who could save us from eternal hell. This message is one of HOPE and love and one we can cling to in hard times. Zechariah spoke of one to come, but we now know that HE DID COME, and He took on our sins at the cross.  He shed His precious blood for the salvation of all men. 

We are still waiting for Him to COME BACK! And He is coming back friends. It is imperative that we reach as many as possible with the Gospel. The only way we can ensure that our family, friends, neighbors, communities, cities, states, America and around the world, be reached with the Blessed News that Jesus still saves sinners! From the lowest to the highest we are all born into sin. The only way we can enter heaven is to be cleansed from that sin by sacrifice approved unto God. What other Sacrifice could be offered in our stead greater that Jesus? NONE! He gave us a gift we could never repay. But that is the whole purpose! We never could pay, do enough good, pray hard enough . . . nothing to earn our way to Heaven! Jesus is the way! Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  John 14:6

If you are saved, are you telling others how to be saved? Are those you love the most saved and going to heaven? If not START RIGHT THERE! It is your responsibility to tell, it will be the Holy Spirit that will draw them to salvation! Trust Him! Just tell the precious story of salvation before it is eternally to late!

• Pray for our need for a home here in Florida - we know you have the supply Lord already, help us to be patient. We are moving Saturday once again to a precious saint's home for a couple of Months... at least till May when we will "move again" 
• Pray for Stan Skriloff - cancer and treatments, and pray for his caregiver wife Care

• Pray for our dear friend, Sister Connie Booher and her graciousness to put us up for a couple of weeks till Mrs. Cora's is ready for us in a more long-term situation.
• Pray for Sister Cora and her hip healing from a fall and surgery. Miss Cora graduated from her wheelchair to her walker and can now sit in her very own chair. Praise the Lord! Keep her in your prayers please. Her granddaughter Christy leaves Saturday and I know she will be lonely for her. Please pray for the family.
• Pray for the Printing Ministry and all that goes on with it. Pray our paper supply will continue - we are still not able to purchase COVER STOCK, but we praise the Lord for our previous pastor's wisdom in buying several truckloads of this precious product. Only God knew what we would be facing today with shortages, and we have the "widows' mite" we are working from.
• Pray for the Mission Team coming in June that we will be able to finish all the work they will do for the few days they are with us.
