January 18, 2023 ~ January 2023 Devotions: "Radiant"

And so, I continue. . .

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works.  Psalms 26:7 KJV

Habakkuk 3:3-4 ~ God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. 4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.   KJV

No matter how much we fail to understand, or how often we fail our God; He is still wonderful and wants to give us blessings. Chapter 3 is Habakkuk's prayer. The best part of this song is that it shows that Habakkuk truly grasped what God was teaching him. (You ought to read Habakkuk; it is only three chapters. It will help you understand why Habakkuk is writing chapter 3).

O that God would continue to give me discernment in regards to His hand on my life. That I would understand what it is He wants me to do. HE IS GOD! We are to trust His guiding hand in our lives and in every area of our lives. This song is Habakkuk's prayer in response to what he promised God in Habakkuk 2:1. After being greatly chastened, he tells God that he understood what He was saying. Folks, we should be concerned if we are going on in life and the Holy Spirit of God is not bringing conviction on our lives. It is He that reminds us of who we are, children of God. We have a responsibility that came with our salvation. We must at all times guard our actions; walk, talk, lifestyle. . . all of who we are must center around Christ and not the world. When we do that glorious light that Habakkuk wrote of will show in our lives as Christians. I want that, don't you? Allow God to help you make changes in your life to better it for Him and that others may see Christ in You!

Win someone to the LORD today! Snatch that soul nearest to death from the pit of hell! O that we may always be watching and prepared to share the Gospel with all who we come in contact with! Keep looking up! He is coming soon. Bring all you can that you can with you on that great day!

HE CARES!

Do You Know HIM?

Lord, help us to be wise, studied up, aware, and faithful to You. Amen.

With love and prayers,
May we be your faithful Philippians 2:16 Missionaries?

Philippians 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
