And so, I continue. . .
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works. Psalms 26:7 KJVExodus 34:29, 34a ~ 29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. 34a But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. Our study for January 2023, "Radiant" is not a word used often, I think. In fact, other than reading the word it is not used in our everyday English language to describe a person. Websters 1828 Dictionary describes it like this: ~ Radiant, a. Shooting or darting rays of light; beaming with brightness; emitting a vivid light or splendor; as the radiant sun. A radiant shining, as the GLOW on Moses face described in our verses today.
Moses had such a glow about him, he had to wear a vail to protect the people with the shining glow. His countenance was an obvious message that He had just spent some time with the Lord. I know for a fact that many praying saints, have a "saintly glow" as they approach the heavenly Father in prayer. May we all exemplify this glow in our Christian lives. Give that blessed hope to everyone that will. My husbands says that God wants us all saved, but we have to come to Him by our own free will. We have to purposefully choose Jesus as our Saviour. When we do ~ that heavenly glow can be ours. Won't you be saved today lost sinner. Time is running out. Here it is 2023 - who would have ever thought! May God be real to you today. May He open your eyes and heart to the truth and light of Jesus Christ.
He came to die for ALL mankind. The Jew, Greek, Gentile, Muslim. . .everyone. The only way you will miss heaven is if you reject His free gift. Be saved today!
