January 13 ~ Dr. Tom Milam He Leadeth Me Devotional

“How Can Two Walk, Unless They Be Agreed?”

Amos 3:3 and II Corinthians 6:11-18

I can be just as blessed with little as others can be with much. It also shouldn’t bother me that someone else is prospering. Neither should it bother others if I should prosper. God is the ruler and keeper of us all. He gives forth all opportunities to be content, no matter what circumstance or situation we are in. Now, if you are lost, you are undone, you need Jesus as your Saviour. There’s no need in blaming God for your calamity. You need Him to reach down and give you a reconciling touch. You cannot walk as the saved do, neither can the saved walk with you in complete harmony.

Darkness cannot dwell where there is light. It cannot co-habitat with it’s opposite. Though it may be brief, there will always be a conflict of the two. God walks with the sinner, only in the sense of bringing conviction. Never in fellowship until that sinner recognizes that he is lost and on his way to hell, believes, repents and yields to the call of the Spirit. Don’t take this lightly friend, you cannot wait around and be saved any time you want to. You’ll only be saved when the Holy Spirit is convicting, drawing and wooing your heart to succumb.

Christ cannot fellowship with the devil, neither can a believer with an unbeliever. You may co-habitat together in some type of feelings and compromise, but the believer will be totally out of God’s will and their testimony will be no more than a mockery, and a soul winners crown is out of the question.

“And The Winner Is . . .”

The Temple of God and Idols friend,

 Cannot dwell together therein:

One must throw the other out,

And allow the Highest power to win.
