“Kissing The Face Of Jesus”
Mark 14:45; Luke 22:48
The flesh and the world are very faithful, but when you think you might trust them, they will deceive you and let you down. If you kiss the religions of the world, you will be a betrayer to true salvation. The world has kisses that say, go along to get along, that is hypocrisy. To kiss the world and to claim Christ as Lord will make you a heretic and you will definitely live in infidelity. The world has nothing to offer to Gods people but deceitfulness and unrighteousness, anything that is not of God is sin. In the book of Proverbs, we see a young man without understanding, followed the strange woman, after a kiss.
Some of the kisses that we give Jesus are: The daily prayers we offer; daily devotions; Bible studies. Daily and weekly, even down to memorizing scriptures; Hardly ever missing any church services; Glad to stand and give testimony among the brethren; Confessing Christ as Saviour; was baptized by the Spirit into the family of God; followed in His footsteps in water baptism; eagerly taking communion; but are you sincere in your service for Him, out away from the safety of the Palace? The eyes of the brethren and the worship services? Are you careless out on the job and the other places of the world? Will we betray Jesus with a kiss also? We claim to be a follower of Jesus, do we have control of our temperament? Are we consistent in what we say we are? Does our compassion that will weep over a sad story carry us on to the halt, hurting and hungry? Or do we betray Jesus with a kiss, like Judas did? If we truly love Jesus we would die before we would grieve Him to the point of betraying Him.
“Faithful”
Preserve us Lord from every false way, Make us sincere and true.
Help us to never our Saviour betray, And always be faithful to you

Bible Reading Schedule: Judges 6-78-95:1-5
Romans 5:1-5 ~ 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
