“His Name Is Jesus!”
Matthew 1:18-25
I have read many books about our Saviour and all of them exalted Christ beyond thought deed, pen and parchment. Other men have written with such eloquence and oratorical skills, that the anointing of the Holy Spirit was so real that He would captivate my mind and heart that there would be no mistake. Heaven has been brought down, -- Christ lifted and proclaimed in abundant measure.
What is Christ to you, can you pen it down? Is He to you without price? David said, even His clothes were saturated with His sweetness, “All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia.” Prince of Glory! Is He that to you? Is He yet, “Amazing Grace, that saved a wretch like you?” I believe we can call Him Emmanuel because, “there is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins, and sinners plunge beneath that flood, lose all their guilty stains....” Can we look at frail sickly bodies and proclaim with them -- "He is my Redeemer." Can you see it, Friend? He is the “Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star, He is the Fairest of Ten thousand to my soul.” The Rose of Sharon gives but a glimpse of His beauty; He is Altogether Lovely; He is All in All! There is no other name ever been
given that is sweeter than the name of our Saviour, Jesus!
“Jesus”
What word is priceless above thought or thing?
Jesus, precious Jesus!
What melodious sound makes Heaven sing?
Jesus, precious, Jesus!
What word is more precious and charming brother?
Eternal Jesus, and not another!
