February 23 ~ Dr. Tom Milam He Leadeth Me Devotional

“Be Bold To Believe!”

Hebrews 13:5

As God gives His promises, they are not for a select few, but for all who will believe. If God has given you a promise friend, it is for all to claim it. The wells of God do not open just for one person, but that all that is thirsty may drink from them. God is not selfish with His giving as we are, He delights in giving to His children. We train ourselves to be hoarders, collectors of things, including our will of selfish things, such as: The determination of self to have more because we deserve it or the self-work of, I have worked hard for what I have, and I’ll not share it with anyone that has not worked as hard as I have.

If God had only one child to concern Himself with, He would give all He has to that child. The fountain is open to all who may drink, His food supply is not open to the starving person only, but all of the hungry may share in his bounty. Gods promises hold true for all of His saints, not just to those of old who wrote about it. We may all feed from His living words of promise, do you believe it? This is our Canaan land, eat from it, drink from it, it is yours to enjoy, will you believe it? He said, He would never leave nor forsake us. If there was only one piece of bread in the state of West Virginia, Gods children would be on it nibbling! God cares for His own, He has given us everything, you will realize it as you trust Him. His loving kindness far exceeds our highest expectations, he is rich in mercy.

“Ask”

What I want, give He can,

Ask, He’ll give from His own hand.

Needs down here He craves to meet,

Ask and believe and you shall receive.

Daily Jewel:

He would give all He has to that child.”

Bible Reading Schedule: Numbers 23-25

Weekly Memory Verses: II Timothy 2:11-15

2 Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

With love and prayers,
