“Ask God!”
Psalms 34:4
If you want mercy, you must pray; Go speak to God about it, He will deliver. We are taught in the Scripture to let our supplications be made known to God and He would extend mercy. You have prayed and found out through your own experience that this is so. Although God has granted you many blessings and favors that you’ve not asked for, but it has still been that your great praying has brought to you His great mercy. Matthew 7:7 says, Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be open unto you.”
A - ASK
S - SEEK “It is all in the asking and believing; God will do it.”
K - KNOCK
When happiness and joy are your companions for a while, you conclude that it is answer to prayers. When trouble and danger overwhelmed you, and you were delivered out of them, you proclaimed that prayers did it. Prayer is always before our blessings; it has led the way. Prayer opens the doors and then casts a beam of light in the darkness of shadowing doubt. Without prayer preceding the blessing, we would never know the value of either.
If all of our blessings came without asking for them, we would surely take them for granted, and fail to look to Him who graciously gives them. We then would get used to them being just another common thing in an un-thankful world.
“Pray”
Prayer makes His mercies more precious than gold,
When we ask, He’ll gladly unfold.
Praying, believing with heart and mind bold,
God, will of His bounty, never withhold.

Daily Scripture Reading: Numbers 14-15
Weekly Memory Verses: II Timothy 2:11-15
2 Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
