My new life has started Lord, it’s

  Just you and me.

But I see a whole lot of self,

  And just a little of thee.  

As I continue to grow it’s plain

  to see;

There’s still some of self, and

  Some of thee.

As the years go on I’m seeing

  less of me;

Just a little of self,

  And a lot of thee.

I’ve grown up now, and on bended

  knee;

I desire none of self, but all

  Of thee  

Dead to self; yet alive to be,

  When there’s none of self,

And all of thee!
