We are moved to wonder,

  About this earthly plan;

  Many things here,

  We try to understand. 

Why? We ask,

  In such a childish way;

  The puzzles, the mysteries,

  The questions every day. 

We write them down,

  And note them in a book;

  Then, when we get to heaven,

   We say, we’ll take a look. 

Look, we might,

  And look, we may;

  But will it make a difference,

  In our eternal day 

I think no!

  It’ll matter not;

  Of what we know,

  Or what we’ve got.

Allow me to explain,

  In rhythmic fashion;

  How we’ll live there,

  According to his passion. 

With every song-lyric,

  We’ll wave the blood banner;

  In unique clarity,

  And succinct manner. 

Let’s let the Bible,

  Tell us all it can;

  And then by faith,

  Take an absolute stand. 

By the word of God,

  We live and trust;

  Then faith turns to sight,

  We’ll abide with the just. 

It is joy unspeakable,

  And full of glory;

  Let’s tell again,

  The grand ole’ story. 

His word was written,

  Long ago;

  How Gods son,

  Would defeat our foe. 

 

Prophetically proclaimed,

  And put to the test;

  God’s word is truth,

  Of our eternal quest. 

He suffered, bled and died,

  He arose and went away;

  He’ll return in power and glory,

  Be ready for that day!
