Ezekiel 34:16 ~ I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. KJV
More wonderful promises of God are revealed in Ezekiel 34 verse 16. "I WILL. . ." He isn't just spouting off "words", He is making a statement of fact. Because of the spiritual condition of the shepherds, some of God's sheep (children) will be lost, some will be broken, and some will be sick. But read that verse again! He said, "I WILL SEEK, BRING AGAIN, BIND UP, STRENGTHEN, AND DESTROY!" God's love shown here is for His sheep (children.) That is me, is it You? It is for all those that belong to Him. He protects and supports us. He is ready to strengthen those weakened or overwhelmed by anxiety. He bandages His sheep, helping them to heal if they have been hurt. And He brings back those who have strayed and who may struggle with negative feelings.
He feels responsible for us. To God a lost sheep is not a lost cause. He knows when a sheep is missing; He searches for that sheep, and He rejoices when he finds it. (Matthew 18;12–14) 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
What a wonderful Father we have! His promises are true. Where are you in your spiritual life, Christian? Have you strayed away from the house of God? Are you wandering in the evil wilderness of this world? This world is not our home! God's future promises to restore the lost, broken, weak, and sick is just that. Let Him minister to you and return you to your rightful place as a Christian. Don't let the devil take over your life and destroy your testimony. If you have done things unpleasing to the Lord and others have seen your actions, you may be affecting their decision to get right with God.
God is going to restore the earth back to Paradise, undo the effects of death and usher in a New World full of righteousness. I want to be there to see that great promise. Don't You?
And lost person, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, get saved today! Don't delay any longer, HE IS COMING BACK AND VERY SOON!
