And so, I continue. . . 

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works. Psalms 26:7

Romans 12:9-13 ~ Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. KJV 

"With eyes wide open to the mercies of God, I beg you, my brothers, as an act of intelligent worship, to give Him your bodies, as a living sacrifice, consecrated to Him and acceptable by Him. Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mould, but let God re-mould your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the Plan of God for you is good, meets all His demands and moves towards the goal of true maturity." ~ J. How many of us are missing all the goodness God has for us because we have allowed the "world" to encroach that sacred place where the Holy Spirit abides within us? His love, forgiveness, kindness, strength, patience, are all ours for the asking. We are missing the best God has to offer because we have taken a stance of bitterness, hate, even harm of God's people because you "thought" there was a faction trying to tear you down. I'm not saying that it isn't true, I'm just saying that we allow the blackness of life and the devil to overrun the glorious beauty of what God and the Holy Spirit has for us. When we harbour ill feelings in our hearts, it really hurts us more than the intended "victim". 

That "mould" of which JBP spoke, the worldly mould, we should avoid at all costs. How you say? Well certainly we should entertain that ultimate thought of forgiveness. Forgive when and where you can, and I can tell you all kinds of ways to forgive hurt and harm, but the best is to just give it back to God and let Him take care of it, that is what I pray God will do for me.  If you don't it will eventually steal YOUR JOY! My joy is precious to me. I don't want to become some disgruntled unhappy Christian. When I do, I may be tempted to stop praying, reading my Bible, going to church and so much more.

Allow God to handle this tough situation for you. Let Him heal your heart and you carry on the work He has called you to do! Some may say the pain is to great and I just cannot let go of what they have done to me or my loved ones. YOU MUST if you want to excel as a Christian. Don't hang on to something that keeps hurting every single day. Turn it over to God and let Him do what He does best; love us, heal us, help us. When we don't its like saying, "God you can't handle this, I'll just keep it and you help someone else!" The lies of the devil himself.  He doesn't want you to turn to God, he wants to keep you in that pit of destruction. That is where he is and I want to stay as far away from the devil as possible! Again, let go and let God! He will take it from there.

May the God of all creation give you strength, power, peace and may He ever be FIRST in our lives!

• Remember a post I put out a few days ago!  YOU PRAYED BIG, AND GOD CAME THROUGH! WE WILL GIVE DETAILS LATER! 
• Carolyn healing from skin cancer removal - praise the Lord.
• David Harrison - cancer 3/26/23 UPDATE - Pastor Harrison has stage 4 cancer CAT SCAN revealed NO CANCER IN ANY MAJOR ORGANS! PRAISE THE LORD.   Pray for treatments that will start soon and that his body will be able to tolerate the treatments with no side affects. A praise - His health team are phenomenal - that is so important!
• Also, praise the LORD for the paper Maranatha Baptist IN Princeton WV gave us - Gospel tracts are on the way to the cartel on this paper. . . pray for souls saved and safety for the missionaries who carry it with God's protection. This trip they have been approved by two heads of state in these cartels, to set up a "church" building. They have been meeting in open air areas, and many have trusted Christ as their Saviour! The more that are saved, peace reins in their homes and communities. O the stories that can be told! Pray that God will provide all that is needed! 
• PRINT SHOP ANSWER TO PRAYER!  ANOTHER NEW PAPER PALLET ARRIVING MONDAY 3-13-23, GIVEN TO US BY AN ANONYMOUS donation.  Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD the Print Shop Paper Vendor has located some much needed paperstock, but price per case has gone from around $92 to over $140 - God will supply with your prayers! We are required to take a pallet of 20 boxes! $2,800

• Dale ~ continued help and healing after losing his precious wife.
• UPDATE: 3/26/23 Baby Knox had to be re-intubated. . . HOWEVER, HE HAS WOKEN and is actually sucking . . . genetic tests still are not back... keep praying
• Sal fell, broke his hip, had surgery. Praise the Lord, Sal is still in rehab, AND as of Sunday 3/26/24 he was up on a walker and sometimes walking without one. Please pray for a speedy recovery! One of our much needed volunteers. Pray he can continue showing improvement and get out of rehab soon.
• David Pierce, Sr. - Losing his vision 3/1/23.
• UPDATE 3/4/23 - little Chloe Rochester's results on tumor revealed that it is stage 3 and will most likely move to other organs quickly. She begins 52 weeks of intensive treatments. Chloe has had her second  treatment. Please continue to pray for her, please pray God will give wisdom to the doctors and her parents.
• Missionary Stan Skriloff recently diagnosed CANCER free, rang the bell yesterday after taking his LAST CHEMO treatment! He is suffering with other issues due to chemo treatments! PLEASE PRAY God will heal him fully and give him strength to carry on the work He loves so much!
• Linda Sue Williams - Please pray Doctors can find answers to her illnesses. 
• Please, pray for our daughter Lita in her health journey with Guillain-Barré syndrome. ANSWER TO PRAYER - MUCH NEEDED EQUIPMENT WILL BE INSTALLED IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS. Please pray that God will move with regards to her future situation in health and finances. Thank you for praying. 
• Bro. Tom's EYES AND SHOULDER - Please continue to pray for his shoulder, and that God would heal it completely. His doctor says Surgery is out of the question at his age.

• Pray for the Printing Ministry - PLEASE Pray our paper supply will continue - we are still not able to purchase COVER STOCK, but we praise the Lord for our previous pastor's wisdom in buying several truckloads of this precious product. Only God knew what we would be facing today with shortages, and we have the "widows' mite" we are working from. We have started negotiating with equipment vendors, particularly for the color and black and white printers! We seek wisdom and discernment in this area!

“Let These Go Their Way”

John 18:2-11

The Shepherd is always, concerned with his sheep, no shepherd would ever turn his back on his flock and be distracted by other elements. As Jesus gave Himself over to the enemy in the garden. He was very much concerned about those of His flock, the disciples that were there with Him. He didn’t say a word in His own defense, but He said for His brethren, “let these go their way.” The power of Almighty God was manifested there that day; it was shown in that the shepherd loved His flock with a constant, not a wavering love; a love unselfish and undemanding; love that is faithful and dependable. Christ showed His love in the light of what was before Him, there to lay down His life for the sheep. His compassion pleaded for their release, and not to be held accountable with Him there.

He was man’s substitute long before the cross, He stood in for the saints of old and is yet standing for His flock of believers. Remember it was ordained from the foundation of the world that, “for this cause came He unto the world.” He came as a redeemer, not only to redeem from sin and the slavery of Satan. When Jesus spoke, “let these go their way,” and at the cross, “forgive them Father, for they know not what they do,” Satan’s plan was foiled, he had no hold as he thought he did. We are dead and risen to live under the protection of the Shepherd, He is our progress, our holiness, our triumph and praise God, our glory! And nothing can stop us from finding perfect peace and consolation under the leadership of the Great Shepherd.

March 17 ~ Dr. Tom Milam He Leadeth Me Devotional

“As Holy As You Want To Be”

Romans 12:1; Ephesians 1:4; 5:27 

Deep thinking and meditating is good to a point, but there needs to be a time to get up and exercise what you are thinking about. If your life is not in order, grit your teeth together, look the devil in the eyes, and say I’m not sitting on this thing any longer. God has a plan for me and I’m giving Him right-of-way in the matter now. But your want-to must be greater than your not-wanting-to.

Start right now don’t let anything stop you: Have you never learned to tithe? Then do it now; start family devotions and prayer time, right away, wait no longer; work on getting your debts paid, and try ever-so-hard to not go in debt again; Make good on your promises, forgive that one and accept forgiveness from the ones that need to ask it. But if they don’t, never allow self-centeredness to dictate to you an ungracious spirit. Will you now surrender to be as holy as you care to be?

If you have unchristian habits, it makes no difference whether others do it or not, how holy will you be? Not for or against them, it is for God you decide. Others may have a lot of worldly habits, but they may not be willing to come as close to God as He wants you to. Never say others can, but I cannot, or I can, why won’t others? Don’t be a condemner, set yourself in front of God, and purpose in your heart to live closer than any other dare to do, and you’ll learn what the fulfilling Christ-life is all about.

Humble yourself before God and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit, to be as holy as a pardoned sinner can possible be made. Let no one stop you, you can be as full of the Spirit as you want to be.

May I empty of myself, and may the Spirit fill me; 

As a gift He comes, let nothing sway you,

You can be as full of the Spirit, 

as you truly want to be; It’s up to you,

To get closer to God, and to bear your cross faithfully.

Get Your Whole Family in Church!

“A House of Hope!”

Colossians 1:27 

The devil has tricks that I’ve not even heard of yet. I can’t fight him in my own self. So I call on my Big Brother to fight for me. He can’t throw my Big Brother down; he can’t trample Him to the ground, he meets more than his match when he tackles the One I am joined to.

A child living in this household of a new nature is never alone, he always finds fellowship with others in the family. A child will never develop into maturity if he constantly draws back from fellowshipping with his family. And we will never be fully blessed until we are mastered by the Master of the house.

Let’s get back to old time, basic fundamental devotedness and quit trying to be influenced so much by the world. We are surrounded by an influence that is hostile to all that’s Godliness, right and Holy. The world dictates to us as believers, that we must fit into it, to get ahead scientifically, politically and not get so Spiritual. The thought-life of the world is to infiltrate the minds of as many as possible to change the world to think one way and that all will become Gods themselves. They are saying in essence, we don’t really need God, but friends, we need God, (the true and living God) now more than ever.

“Muscles”

The Word of God will bring on faith, 

And faith is dead, left alone.

Use it much, the muscle of faith,  

Or it will wither and soon be gone.

February 28, 2023, ~ Linda K. Milam February Devotions: "Compassion"

 And so, I continue. . . That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works. Psalms 26:7

Hebrews 10:24-25 ~ 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.  KJV  

It is good to have a Pastor to lead us, but just as important are the church members who gather together as family under a Pastor that will strengthen, lift up, and encourage us through the preaching of the Word, and the singers who stir our hearts in preparation of the message coming from God in any service. In light of what Jesus did for us, and His wonderful blessing of salvation, we must encourage each other knowing that we have eternal salvation. There are hurting members in every church, I dare say, and each one of us together can help and bless each other in our times of need. I know you can name numbers of members who have forsaken the call of God and do not attend church because of one reason or another, but they are missing so much. It must sadden the Lord to know they have more important things to do than to set aside a couple of hours a week to worship Him as He has told us to do in verse 25; ". . . Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. . ."  

Folks, the time is drawing near when we will not be able to obey the Lord's calling. Make today the day you change your heart, lead your family spiritually, and get back in church at the appointed time.  Not only will the Lord be pleased, but the blessings of having your family gathered together with church family are untold! 

HE LOVES US!

PLEASE PRAY WITH US THAT GOD WILL GIVE US A HOME OF OUR OWN SOON. THANK YOU! We looked at an option Friday. We are asking God for wisdom, trusting Him for our every need.

• PRINT SHOP PUNCHER ISSUE IS RESOLVED! PRAISE THE LORD, ALSO OUR TRIMMER IS REPAIRED AS WELL AS THE LAMINATOR! ALL the result of that good meeting you helped us pray about last week. God provided and we were not charged one penny!

• Pray for the Printing Ministry and all that goes on with it.  Miss Shirley came to volunteer along with Miss Elaine for 5 days straight! They finished up 60,000 Gospel Tracts, and 50,000 to go! Praise the Lord! 2-15-23 we are picking Miss Shirley up for work again! Keep on praying, God is moving!

• Pastor's wife, Mrs. Brown. Prayer Request - "Please pray for my pastor’s wife, Mrs. Brown. She is in the ER with very low blood pressure and other issues. Her hemoglobin is low, her potassium is very high, her kidneys aren’t working, and her electrolytes are all off." (Around 5am 2/8/23) UPDATE: SHE IS DOING BETTER, but moved to rehab for a period of time. Continue to pray for her husband, family, and church family. 2/16/23 
• Carl Odell - UPDATE: WAS ABLE TO EXERCISE AT GYM 2-17-23 Praise the Lord.

She has contracted a cold, please pray it will not get worse. Hard on a 91-year-old. We are thankful for this wonderful home for a few months stay till the Lord moves us on.
• Pray for the Printing Ministry - PLEASE Pray our paper supply will continue - we are still not able to purchase COVER STOCK, but we praise the Lord for our previous pastor's wisdom in buying several truckloads of this precious product. Only God knew what we would be facing today with shortages, and we have the "widows' mite" we are working from. We have started negotiating with equipment vendors, particularly for the color and black and white printers! We seek wisdom and discernment in this area!

February 24, 2023 ~ Linda K. Milam February Devotions: "Compassion"

And so, I continue. . . That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works. Psalms 26:7

Romans 9:14-16 ~ What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. KJV

Do you know what mercy is. Mercy is not getting what we do deserve. Folks, I deserve Hell, but I won't go there. The compassion of the LORD God is so great, that He saw us in our sin and sent a Saviour to bring us out. Jesus Christ the redeemer of all men.  How much more compassion can one have than to give their only SON in death and the shedding of righteous blood for our miserable sinful souls. Now that is TRUE compassion. 

It is true, I do deserve to go to Hell, but I will not, cannot, never will go there! I am a child of God, and I am safe in the arms of Jesus. I heard a preacher of the Gospel recently that shared his life's story, and he told us there was a time in their life that a great depression fell upon them. It was so great they began to doubt their own salvation. The devil will do all he can to make us miserable, and honestly, I cannot think of a more miserable place to be as in a pit of depression. Thinking that all, including God, had deserted me. This preacher felt like they wanted to die, and their heart was suffering from absolute abandonment, or so they thought. 

No matter where you are in your life, if you have turned your back on God, the best thing you can do is turn back to Him, fall on your knees and beg for forgiveness.  I can tell you this, He won't ignore you, stall you, or let you wonder if He heard you. He is God, He made a way, and He loves us so much! He will forgive you if you repent of the sin and ask for forgiveness with a broken heart. He is compassionate to a fault some would say. Some would also say, "Why would any God forgive me for the things I have done in my life?" Because He loves you and has mercy and compassion on you, He will forgive. Where are you Christian? Examine yourself, and make sure there is nothing between you and the Lord. Lost person who may have no clue what I just said, "You need to be saved before it is eternally too late! God already knows, so just bow, ask Him to save you! He Will!

2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.

• UPDATE ON LEVI - burned - HIS WOUNDS HAVE HEALED AND HE IS DOING GREAT! PRAISE THE LORD! 02-21-23
• PRINT SHOP PUNCHER ISSUE IS RESOLVED! PRAISE THE LORD, ALSO OUR TRIMMER IS REPAIRED AS WELL AS THE LAMINATOR! ALL the result of that good meeting you helped us pray about last week. God provided and we were not charged one penny! 
• Also, praise the LORD for the paper Maranatha Baptist IN Princeton WV gave us - Gospel tracts are on the way to the cartel on this paper. . . pray for souls saved and safety for the missionaries who carry it with God's protection. This trip they have been approved by two heads of state in these cartels, to set up a "church" building. They have been meeting in open air areas, and many have trusted Christ as their Saviour! The more that are saved, peace reins in their homes and communities. O the stories that can be told! Pray that God will provide all that is needed!

We moved Saturday the 1/14, once again, to a precious saint's home for a couple of Months... at least till May when we will probably have to "move again." We are glad to be a help to Sister Cora and feel by May she will have her strength and healing.
• Bro. Tom's SHOULDER - Please continue to pray for his shoulder, and that God would heal it completely. His doctor says Surgery is out of the question at his age.

Her hemoglobin is low, her potassium is very high, her kidneys aren’t working, and her electrolytes are all off." (Around 5am 2/8/23) UPDATE: SHE IS DOING BETTER, but moved to rehab for a period of time. Continue to pray for her husband, family, and church family. 2/16/23
