Genesis 1:1-4 ~ 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. KJV
Have you ever thought of the fact, that before there "was", God had us on His mind? Why did the sovereign God create this place we call earth, the stars, the sun, the moon? Verse 1 ~ clearly, He had a plan, right? He spoke and heaven and earth were. . .but it was covered in darkness. The very next thing He did was to create light! And ". . .it was good: . . . ". We live many months in FL, and we are rarely without BRIGHT light. We have many hours of daylight to accomplish our daily tasks, and then those darkening hours to rest from our labor. Thank You, God, for Your vision for the greatest creation, man. From Adams time till today, You knew us. In all that You created, You had us in mind.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
We are blessed above all, and we are not here by some accident in space. Every soul that is, was and ever will be was given life from God. We are His light in this dark world we live in. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we honor and lift Him up as the only Sovereign God of man, the One who knew us BEFORE there was light. His Son would be offered up as a sacrifice for the very ones He blew the breath of life into and for generations to come. In "light" of that how can we do anything else but to surrender, serve, and love Him? Well, that's me talking, one that gave myself to the Lord many years ago, already a Christian. The lost cannot understand the absolute utter devotion Christians have for God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. He is the LIGHT of the world, and if all would believe, they would receive this same ETERNAL light and right as a child of God receives.
When Jesus died on that cross, descended into hell, defeated the Devil, rose from the dead; His resurrection sealed the devils' fate and ours. You have a choice, heaven or hell. Either way, it is eternal. He ascended into Heaven to intercede for us. . . we were offered that eternal life from Him as He promised. Read this verse carefully....
Hebrews 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.
He changed the LAW; the temple and priest were no longer needed. Of the last sayings of Christ on the cross, none is more important or more precious than, “It is finished.” (The Greek word translated “it is finished” is tetelestai, an accounting term that means “paid in full.”) When Jesus uttered those words, He was declaring the debt owed to His Father was wiped away completely and forever. Jesus eliminated the debt owed by mankind—the debt of sin. We can have this promise, and once we have accepted the glorious gift of salvation, we will never spend a moment of darkness in hell. Praise the Lord. If you don't know Him personally, you can do that today! He is waiting, and time is marching on.
The Light of the World is Jesus

Lord, help us to be worthy of your sacrifice, securing our souls with the Light of your life and sacrifice. May Your light shine in and through us as our reasonable service to You. Save the lost, encourage the saints please. And help us to be wise, studied up, aware, and faithful to You, giving YOU all of our best with an open loving heart for the ministry and people. Help us Lord, to be wise in our homelife and all that is going on with that. Please Lord - won't you work out our situation for a home in FL. Help us to help where we can, the dear one that has served us and You for years. Lord, we beg that you would bless her and give her great wisdom and discernment in her spiritual life, business, life, and most of all her family life. We love you Lord and thank you for first loving us. Amen.
